WHAT DOES THE QUALIFICATION COVER?
It is a competence-based qualification designed to be assessed in the workplace. This qualification provides learners with the opportunity to build both managerial and practitioner skills.

WHO IS THE QUALIFICATION SUITED FOR?
This course is for people working as a manager practitioner, senior practitioner or deputy manager working
in early year’s settings.

WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?
Learners must hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification and be an experienced practitioner. You must also be in a supervisory role within a Childcare setting and learners must currently be working in a child care setting for at least 16 hours per week. This qualification is not approved for those under 19 years of age.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO COMPLETE?
Approximately 12 – 14 months. This can vary depending on the level of support required for each learner and previous experience.
